About me
My name is Becky, and I am an ICU nurse at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA. I have been married to my husband for almost a decade, and we have a wonderful cat, Charlie, who thinks he's a dog. After a decision to leave the world of corporate management, I embarked on my journey to become a nurse and graduated with my Associate's Degree in 2017. I returned to school in 2014, after a twenty-year hiatus, with a detailed plan for my academic journey. Having completed the first two steps, complete prerequisites and graduate nursing school, I am now working on my third step, obtaining my BSN. My next steps include attending graduate school in the fall and graduating with my DNP to become a Nurse Practitioner. Throughout this process, I have developed a passion for nutrition and prevention and hope to use my experience and knowledge to help people accomplish true health and wellness.
